I've been getting freebies in the mail for a while now, but I started forgetting what was supposed to come and when...so 1 month ago, I started keeping a list of everything, and marking it off when they come.
So far, there are 31 items on the list. That's at least 1 freebie a day! Some are samples, some are full size products, and some are even boxes full of stuff.
Here's what I got today:
* 1 Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor (w/ 2 blades)
I got this through a text offer. I use these razors but the blades cost almost $4-5 EACH! So I stock up on them anytime I can. Right now, in my bathroom, I have 12 of the razors and almost 30 blades. That should last me well over a year! :-) Some I paid for, but all together, I spent only around $12 for all of it. Not bad.
* John Freida Frizz-Ease Samples (Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum)
I have a lot of these shampoo and conditioner samples. Since I get a lot of full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner free, I only use the samples for traveling. :-)
* Burger King Whopper Coupons (3 of them)
This was from a DirecTV promotion. They had you tune into a channel and watch a rotating Whopper for 5 minutes to get 1 free Whopper. Another 10 minutes earned you a second Whopper, and if you wanted to go for 3, just watch for another 15 minutes (30 minutes in all). :-) Gotta love free food, especially when you're poor. LOL
* $5 voucher for Kohls Dept. Store
I actually just got a $10 one the other day for my B'Day, so this makes $15 to spend without having spend a certain amount.
* $10 Cost Plus World Market Voucher
This was for my B'Day...and you only have to buy $10 of stuff to get the $10 off, so it's great to use on spices, or candy, etc... They have some great worldly products.
And, just as I was typing this, I had to take a time out to enter the K'Nex Wii Mario Kart promo they have going on. Basically, they accept 300 entries a day, to total 10,000 by the end of the promotion (July 15th). Well, 9.995 of those people/entries will get a Luigi Action figure from K'Nex (kind of like a little lego man). The other 5, though, will get a Mario one, and that means they also win a Wii System, the Full product line of K'Nex Mario Kart toys ($600 + value), and a trip for 3 to the K'Nex Headquarters.
You can enter once a day, and so far I'm in 5 times. It's really easy to get through on the weekends, so I expect to get in 4 more times before the end of the contest. That gives me almost a 1/1000 shot to get one of the 5 Marios. But, either way, I'd have some Luigi action figures. :-)
